How Are We Found?

When we register a customer we ask how they found our park. We know some people aren’t sure where they first learned of us*  but statistically here are the results thus far in 2010:

15.3 %   Woodalls

15.2%   returning guest

14.9%   Trailer Life

11.9%   walkin

10%   highway blue directional signs

5.3%    other internet site

5%    family or friend referral

4%    Good Sam Club website or atlas

3.9%   AAA

2.5%    Goodland Kansas Welcome Center

1.5%    local attraction, restaurant, gas station referral

1.3%    billboard

(The remaining 2.2% came from a variety of other resources: Big Rig directory, trade shows, FMCA, etc.)

* Sometimes there is more than one answer. Perhaps they first learned of us from a brochure at an RV show, and later they began plottting their trip, studying the large print directories or the vast number of website directories. Then they decided they weren’t sure how far they’d get for their overnight stay so they decided to wing it. On the travel date they saw a billboard, and later they saw the blue highway directional sign. So when I ask them how they found us, it’s hard to tell which one was picked for their answer.

Our very rural overnight park tries to be everywhere so that everyone who needs our park can find us. We can’t rely on any 1 resource, and we can’t even rely on 5 resources. We need ’em all!
