Farmer David has been preparing our U-Pick Organic Garden for weeks, and now we have a list of all that’s in the ground. As things grow and ripen they’ll be ready for the pickin’ by those who stay with us.

Also still to come in 2010 is the herb garden. We’ll blog about it separately as he develops that section.

Farmer David said Sweet Pea wasn’t very conversational when he was out there the other day. I’m thinking she figured he needed to focus on keeping his rows straight and properly labeled so you’d be able to identify each plant.

We’ll post a listing of the ready-to-pick produce at the registration counter.

As a reminder, Farmer David is providing this garden at no cost. He loves to garden, and he enjoys it all the more when people enjoy the harvest. When produce becomes ripe we’ll add a donation plate so our guests who choose to can thank him for his efforts.)
