High Plains Camping Respects Its Blessings

High Plains Camping has had a phenomenal year! The guests have been terrific. Our occupancy far exceeded our expectations. The satisfaction of our guests runs significantly high. The store has had a fabulous year. The staff has been exceptional. This park has been greatly blessed and this RV park owner feels especially humbled by this incredible orchestration.

In recognition of the enormous blessings this year, and with utmost respect for our military, today I drove to Fort Dodge and donated 36 new jackets to America’s veterans who live at the Kansas Soldier’s Home. I was accompanied by Mike McCafferty, a representative from Oakley’s VFW Post #2981, and a Viet Nam era USN veteran. Mike has been a tremendous supporter of High Plains Camping since the day we started our business in 2002.

Fort Dodge is located near Dodge City, Kansas. In 1890 it was deeded to the state to be the Kansas Soldier’s Home. It’s about 145 miles from High Plains Camping.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this success either by staying with us, shopping with us, encouraging us, educating us, praying for us, working for us, working with us, … whatever your contribution … I know the park wouldn’t be where it is today if it wasn’t for each and every one of you!

I thank God for you. I thank God for America’s freedoms. I thank our veterans for their dedication to the US of A.

This is phenomenal! It just goes to show, once again, the good heart that you bring to an industry that is already inundated with good hearts! Nothing like having GOOD things happening around us. Thank you for your contribution – what a wonderful donation you have provided.
