Shhhh, QUIET HOURS Are Enforced

Please refrain from making excessive noise during our quiet hours of 10 p.m. through 9 a.m. Everyone should be quietly settling in for a good night’s sleep.

Loud or offensive noises will not be tolerated at any time, unless its being provided by Mother Nature. We have attempted to negotiate with her but haven’t had success as of yet.

If you are bothered by someone who is not complying with our policy, please notify management. Your handout (site map) provides the contact information for reaching us.

We try to provide coverage 24-hours a day, 365 days a year, but obviously this is very challenging since there are times when life happens.

Allow me to share this story. During a spell where I was suffering through a case of dreadful shingles, I turned off my bedroom telephone while my staff ran the office. When staff left, I kept sleeping. As Murphy’s Law would have it, a guest was unruly and a neighboring guest tried to call me to complain. My phone was off.

Understandably, this only worsened the issue. In the morning I was flabberghasted to learn of the night’s adventure, but there wasn’t any way I could turn back the hands of time to turn on my phone. Fortunately, I was able to resolve all the issues, but from that experience I learned I cannot guarantee that I’ll be available all 525,600 minutes of every year … but I certainly give it my best shot!
