Eating From U-Pick Organic Garden

Today marked the day I savored my first bite from our U-Pick Organic Garden! I added some freshly picked spinach to my salad. My, oh my … wow …  I’m sorry I don’t have a picture, but I can tell you first-hand that it was delicious!

As a reminder, the campers & RVers who stay with us have the luxury of picking from the garden. No cost. Donations are accepted. Appreciation is most welcomed.

The timing of your trip will make a difference as to what’s ready to pick. Here’s what’s been planted:   green beans, lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, various onions, beets, cantaloupe, potatoes, cucumbers, bell green peppers, zucchini, pumpkin,  Tam Hot jalapeno peppers, Serrano hot peppers, and sunflowers (after all, this is Kansas … the Sunflower State!).

Click here to reserve your space at our RV park!

To see more about the garden as it evolved, go back to our HOME page and scroll through to find the earlier blogs and pictures.
